Why is our R & D capability important to you?

  • Performance You Can Count On

The acoustic performance of ALL IAC products and structures is thoroughly tested and recorded in our laboratory, and in the field, so you can have complete confidence in our published data and be sure that
our products will meet the required specification.

  • Testing To International Standards

All IAC products and structures are tested in accordance and compliance with relevant international test standards - such as ISO and ASTM - to ensure that test data is accurate and meaningful.

  • Developing Unique Solutions

IAC's laboratories aren't used solely for the development of mainstream product lines. We spend just as much time tackling the special, often unique acoustic problems of our customers and our laboratory is often crucial in developing a solution that is both technically and commercially viable.

  • A Rapid, Effective Response

Having proper research facilities within our business means that we can create and test prototype products quickly and efficiently, without having to rely on outside agencies. This is especially true with the adaption of certain existing products - within hours of manufacture they can undergo testing to have their performance verified.

  • Maintaining Quality

IAC's laboratories are not used exclusively for new product development. The periodic, on-going testing of existing products is a vital part of our quality control programme, ensuring that performance data is consistently accurate.
