Slimshield® Acoustic Louvres
IAC's Slimshield® Acoustic Louvres are suitable for a variety of applications and markets that include industry, education, office buildings, shopping centres, supermarkets, theatres, power stations, car parks and police stations. Slimshield® louvres are available in four models (100, 150, 300 and 600mm nominal depth) and a complete range of standard modular sizes. This means they can satisfy a wide range of performance requirements, especially where space is limited and architectural standards of appearance must be met. Where access is required, Slimshield® louvres can be supplied as doorsets, for inclusion in louvre screens or as stand-alone units.
 IAC Slimshield® Acoustic Louvres are an attractive noise attenuation solution with their stunning linear appearance, combined with a superior high frequency performance. IAC’s Slimshield® Acoustic Louvre has a rugged all-steel galvanised construction as standard but can be changed on request for something a little more eye-catching such as aluminium or stainless steel, there are also many other materials available on request.
Slimshield® Louvres have a long life being inert, vermin proof and weather-rated using non-combustible acoustic film. The perforated splitter underside is used for the maximum sound absorption possible whilst having a depth range from just 102mm to 600mm for the double-banked model.
The modular sizes of the Slimshield® Acoustic Louvre enable assembly of rectangular louvre ‘walls’ of almost any size. IAC’s Slimshield® Acoustic Louvre blade orientation blocks horizontal line of sight, enhancing both aesthetics and acoustic performance.
 IAC’s Slimshield® Acoustic Louvre has many additional and optional features such as a weather stop, which inhibits the entry of rain or snow. Bird screens can also be fitted onto the acoustic louvre, which can be manufactured from a wide range of materials. Insect screens are also available on request.

Standard Slimshield® Module Sizes
IAC’s Slimshield® Acoustic Louvres have a wide product range from the Linear Blade Single Banked model that includes 102mm deep, 152mm deep and 300mm deep to the larger Double Banked Slimshield® Louvres option that is 600mm deep. We offer Single and Double Banked Slimshield® Acoustic Louvres.
