Gloucestershire Data Centre Gets IAC Louvre Treatment
IAC, European leader in noise control solutions for plant rooms, has provided a challenging acoustic louvre noise control solution to a Data Centre in Gloucestershire.
Located on an industrial estate, the cooling technology for the recently-extended Data Centre is located on a plant area occupying a rooftop position. The environs of the plant area itself are very cramped which added to the design challenges of the project.
IAC designed, manufactured and installed acoustic louvres to all four sides of the plant area, with angled solid acoustic panels to the elevated section.
Pat Healey is Contract Manager with Birmingham-based contractor, cladding company, Sharkey and Co. “This is an especially compact site so it was a tricky noise control job. However, it has all gone smoothly and IAC has delivered the solution to a good standard.”
