2003 GETS OFF TO A SIZZLING START!!

The first quarter of 2003 has turned out to be one of the best ever for IAC. A very healthy stream of new orders has been complemented by several large projects reaching a successful conclusion. Highlights include:

Another major order (£1.4 million) for air handling units (AHU’s) for London’s Canary Wharf; our largest ever educational contract for studios for Digbeth College; a huge acoustic enclosure for a Williams Formula 1 wind tunnel project and a major anechoic room for audiometric research at UCL, London. We have also just won orders to provide almost £½m worth of special, rooftop ventilation systems for Gatwick Airport and two enormous inlet/exhaust silencers for Kettle Foods.

Projects just completed include the refurbishment of a semi-anechoic room for a major UK vehicle manufacturer and a totally new type of acoustic barrier for electronics giant, Intel, in Ireland. Aviation projects successfully completed include the Gnome Engine Test Facility at DARA Fleetlands, Hawk Aircraft Hush House at BAE Brough and the refurbishment/upgrade of the Adour Engine Test Facility at RAF Valley. The fit-out of over 20 TV, radio and other studios for the BBC, Birmingham, is on course for completion later this year.
