SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
IAC provide acoustic test facilities to the world's most prominent auto makers and engine manufacturers. These facilities are usually delivered on a turnkey basis with a project value of £1m to £20m and incorporate concrete foundations, structural steelwork, cladding and M&E services in addition to specialist IAC acoustic treatments and air systems.
IAC currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction professional to join our team as a Senior Project Manager. Based at IAC HQ in Winchester, the successful candidate will:
- Directly manage specific projects
- Have regular meetings with clients and architects at project mile stones and to review project progress against programme
- Assist with bidding of new proposals
- Be responsible for the overall design co-ordination of the civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and acoustic elements
- Responsibility for Budgetary administration, cash flow forecasts and financial control of projects
We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible professional with good communication skills; with the following skills and experience:
- Broad based project management skills gained in the construction and / or industrial sector
- Civil/Electrical/Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent
- Excellent awareness of standard forms of building contracts
- Excellent awareness of site health and safety
- Contracting experience
- Experience of delivering integrated engineering projects
- Experience of preparing and presenting claims if necessary
- Prince2 qualification would be advantageous but is not essential

TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER - BUILDING SERVICES
IAC currently have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer working for our Building Services Team, within our Acoustics division. Based at the Group HQ in Winchester, the successful candidate will be working alongside our Sales team to achieve the following:
- Selection of appropriate building services noise control products
- Preparation of proposals & quotations for noise control solutions
- Provide product application advice
- Work closely with customers and manage enquiries throughout the sales process
- Close liaison with customers, suppliers and internal teams
- Customer / site visits as appropriate
- Close liaison with contracts, engineering and manufacturing teams
If you are a bright, enthusiastic and dynamic candidate with previous experience in Building Services/Acoustics/Fan or HVAC Engineering and have or are keen to develop a career in sales, we would be extremely interested in hearing from you. We are ideally seeking candidates with the following skills and experience:
- HNC/HND/Degree qualified in an engineering discipline, preferably Acoustics/Building Services
- Full driver's license
- Well organised
- Good interpersonal skills
- Commercially aware
- Team player
- Fully IT literate and proficient in MS Office software especially Excel
- Self motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
- Able to work under pressure
- Ability to meet targets
