
Plenums
IAC Quiet-Flow® Fan Plenums
– of modular acoustic panels and doors isolate HVAC fan noise from radiating to
sensitive adjacent areas and reduce fan noise in the air stream. Additionally,
they provide thermal insulation.
Big-H™ Plenums are capable
of withstanding pressure differentials of more than 10 i.w.g.
(2491 N/m2). Each plenum is engineered to handle normal
operating pressures, as well as abnormal conditions that might occur in the
event of damper control malfunction, fire damper closure or other pressure
surges.
Big-H™ Plenums can be
designed to handle seismic upsets, stringent snow loadings, and wind loads well
in excess of 100 mph (161 km/hr).
The modular Noishield®
panels used in Big-H™ Plenums are the strongest of all pre-engineered plenum
panels available. The rugged, one-piece H-Joiner provides joints which are
stronger than the panels themselves. No other plenum of equal material content
is as strong or as economical to engineer and install!
