Major Railway Involvements
ABB - Explorer Railcars NSW
Colpro carried out the design, traction and generator diesel exhaust silencers for the complete fleet of railcars.
Goninan - Sprinter Railcars VIC
Colpro carried out the design and construction of the complete diesel exhaust system for the complete fleet of railcars consisting of 44 cars.
BHP Port Kembla - Locomotive Evaluation
Carried out a noise survey on English Electric powered locomotive, to investigate exhaust noise and possible counteractive solutions.
Clyde Engineering - WA Locomotive
Designed and constructed a prototype silencer for Clyde Engineering constructed WA narrow gauge locomotives. Assisted in the noise trouble shooting to bring the locomotives within contract specification, after delivery of full fleet.
Goninan - Prospector and Avonlink Railcars WA
Colpro carried out the design and construction of the complete diesel exhaust and air intake systems for 9 sets of railcars.
Goninan - Locomotive Silencers
Colpro carried out the unique design and structural evaluation of the complete diesel exhaust system to meet low frequency noise levels. The project consists of 9 car sets. |
