release IAC AVIATION WINS T56 ENGINE TEST FACILITY RELOCATION CONTRACT
The contract was awarded in December 2006 and all work was performed on schedule in February this year. IAC Aviation is the preferred partner of other OEMs Europe-wide and an approved supplier to Rolls-Royce. IAC Aviation has been awarded and completed a short-duration contract by Rolls-Royce Deutschland to dismantle and relocate elements of an indoor T56 propeller on facility. The facility was originally provided to the Dutch Navy. The key criterion for the contract was the ability to provide a rapid response due to the short timescales.
