A wide range of standard silencers
for inflow and outflow equipment for vacuum pumps and suppressers,
when the service pressure inside the silencers is below 0.5 bar.
Our silencers are fully welded and
are made of S235JR carbon steel, with interior and exterior protection
provided by a black paint primer.The soundproofing material is rock
wool.The nominal diameter of the inlet and outlet tubing (DN) as
well as the noise reduction class (15,25,30,40) determines the name
of the silencers. E.g.: SR 30 DN 50.
This type of material is not part
of the containers under pressure, and is therefore not subject to
tests or specific controls. A dimensional and visual inspection
control report can be provided on request. In the event of pressure
above 0.5 bar, refer to the Specific SR specifications.
Acoustic performances
The acoustic definition of our SR
silencers has been optimised by our Research and Development department.
Our silencers are based on two noise reduction principles:
- Absorption device (SR15 and SR25) "
- Reactive and wave displacement device together
with an absorption device (SR30 and SR 40).
Together with low impedance loss,
our silencers are capable of a wide range of noise reduction from
15 to 40 dB (A).
Installation
Our silencers can be placed in a horizontal
or vertical position depending on the space available and the layout
of the piping. Our departments can advise you on the optimum position
of the in-line silencer.

Water separator silencers
The "SR40S" water
separator silencers equip the outflow of liquid ring or water injection
vacuum pumps. To take account of the conditions under which these
appliances are positioned they are offered in 2 versions:
- Single piece
- In 2 square parts
Acoustic performances
are identical to the SR 40.
Oil separator silencers
These silencers are designed to reduce
the sound of escaping compressed air containing oil particles: drop
hammer, cylinder outflows, and pneumatic presses. Dimensions are
to be defined according to the application and the acoustic performances
sought: from 20 to 50 dB(A).
Our silencers are self-cleaning and
do not require any periodic maintenance. They must be connected
to an oil storage tray. Also available in galvanised steel or stainless
steel, internal parts can be dismantled.
