IAC China’s new Sales and Marketing Manager visits Europe

IAC Winchester recently played host to IAC China’s new Sales and Marketing Manager, Derek Li, during a 5-day product familiarization visit to Europe.

Derek, who joined IAC China in September, is an experienced sales manager with an impressive track record in sales of engineered equipment for OEMs and project management. He is fluent in English and has an Australian passport.

Following 2 days with IAC Boet Stopson in France for familiarization with Power products, Derek, was given full training in Winchester on the full range of products. This included a Factory Tour followed by a briefing from Kane Watkinson on doors and windows. Anna Morton and Shaun Moore spent time with Derek on Audiology and Studios. Derek was also taken through Building Services and Acoustic Test products as well as receiving a full briefing on enquiry processing, pricing, quotations and how orders are secured.

Geoff Crowhurst, Director of Acoustics said : ? Derek is full of enthusiasm about the marketing operations he is implementing in China. Him speaking fluent English is invaluable and it meant we were able to give him a thorough overview during his visit to help support his operations back home.
