IAC SIM Engineering services fall into 2 main areas:
Environmental acoustic measurement
We measure noise levels at the location itself and, where appropriate, along its boundaries with neighbouring communities.
Noise surveys and mapping
First we identify the various noise sources and then measure the noise levels emitted. Using our sophisticated computer programs we are then able to generate 3D simulations which enable us to acoustically map all noise sources located within a given site – producing an IGN file.

Noise treatment recommendations
Having measured and mapped the noise problem we then process the noise data using our unique SIM CEGA software, and simulate noise treatment solutions and their respective outcomes. This enables us to make practical recommendations as to the most effective resolution to the particular noise problem.
Our parent company Industrial Acoustics Company is a world leader in the design and manufacture of noise control products and systems. Having made recommendations for noise abatement, IAC is then able to undertake design and delivery of a solution to the problem, if desired. |
