Green Silencers
 IAC’s Green Duct Attenuator range offers a solution to increasing requirements for eco-friendly HVAC systems.
The acoustic fill is from 100% post-industrial, recycled, organic materials, thereby reducing landfill. The fill is environmentally friendly, and constructed from recycled natural fibres. Each fibre is treated with an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registered fungal inhibitor in order to prevent mould, mildew, fungi and provide pest protection. The acoustic fill material does not contain any harmful chemicals, irritants and/or volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The fill is easy to handle and because it has no skin irritation elements, it is worker-friendly.
 The Quiet-Duct Ultra Green Attenuator’s fill is mould-resistant, fire-resistant and contains no harmful airborne particulates, formaldehyde or fibreglass. This gives peace of mind for indoor air-conditioned environments.
IAC was the first British company to introduce a 'green' duct attenuator range for air handling applications. With acoustic infill material made from specially developed post-industrial organic fibre, IAC is continuing to set the industry standard by providing eco-friendly alternatives to suit today's construction agenda. The fill in IAC’s Green Duct Attenuators require a minimum amount of energy to manufacture which helps with energy conservation.
