IAC manufactures a complete range of Building Services noise control products and systems in one of the largest (10,000m² approx) and most sophisticated plants of its type in Europe.
All our acoustic products have proven performance and are fully tested and rated in our own aerodynamic laboratories. IAC have many energy saving designs that provide value for money solutions.
IAC’s building services products are of all-metal construction to ensure long life and have an aerodynamic profile to minimize pressure drop. Recent investment by IAC in advanced sheet metal cutting and forming machinery - including a 6-coil computerised duct-making machine - allow all our products to be manufactured with immense speed, precision and at a competitive price. IAC operates a flexible system of batch production that allows almost any delivery deadline to be met.
All IAC silencers are performance rated in accordance with ASTM-E477, BS 4718 and ISO 7235. Quality control is a major feature of IAC’s operations and the company is registered to the BS EN ISO 9001:2008 quality standard.

The company makes over thirty different designs of Quiet-Duct® rectangular and Conic-Flow® circular duct silencers - including special low frequency (LF) and fibre-free models. Other products in IAC’s HVAC range include acoustic louvres, Big-H® fan plenums; Quiet-Flow® packaged air handling units, acoustic enclosures and acoustic doors.
Our Quite Duct Silencers, Conic Silencers and Acoustic Plenums and Circular Silencers all control noise from air conditioning and fan systems. Quiet Vent and Cross Talk Silencers allow conversational privacy, while other attenuators are available for school classroom environments and other interiors where attenuated natural ventilation is required.
To reduce noise pollution, cooling tower silencers and splitters, acoustic louvres (Noishield® and Slimshield® brands), acoustic barriers and acoustic screens are proven noise suppressors while anti-vibration mounts and floating floors are effective for plant and equipment rooms. Low-noise on-floor air handling units are ideal for fast-track, high-rise construction projects, with crane installation floor by floor as building progresses.
