Upbeat architectural push follows Spanish ‘market visit’

Jason Saunders, Business Manager, Architectural, visited Boet Stopson Espanola in Barcelona last month to lead a push to win greater local market share in Acoustic Doors and Windows, Studios, and Audiometric booths.

Jason’s visit built on Kane Watkinson’s recent visit and was a useful occasion for technical information exchange regarding IAC’s latest door developments, and those of our main local competitors. Under discussion were current customers and projects and the ‘imminent’ Ferrovial Agroman Music School, of which we hope to secure an order shortly with for 20 doors and 4 windows, along with many other key prospects and a couple of visits were made to key potential clients.

The sales and technical team welcomed a detailed presentation showing the Audiological/Medical market, our products and services, how we select and specify particular booths and rooms and for what purpose. In addition it covered who IAC approaches for specification and selection and how the market operates within other European countries and our current success within these. This presentation was well received and informative for all involved.

The UK team offers full support and guidance directly to Spain, keen to work hard together in the next 18 months to further develop the market.

Jason said: “The whole visit was very successful. It has further contributed to our energised strategy for Spain and is destined to deliver great results for the IAC brand in what is a growing, but fiercely price driven market.”
