APPOINTS EDWARDS TO WAKE THE ‘SLEEPING GIANT’
IAC
Aviation, a world leader in aero engine testing and noise control, is
pleased to announce the appointment of Gordon Edwards BSc MSc CEng MIEE
as General Manager.
Gordon is an accomplished
Business and Programme Manager who has spent most of his career with major
defence and aerospace companies, including Marconi and BAE Systems. Gordon
enjoys the challenges associated with delivering business growth while
delivering highly complex and high-value projects.
A keen advocate of
team building and customer relationship management, in his new role at
IAC Gordon will be looking to build relationships with customers new and
old and use the full talents of the experienced team to focus and progress
the business.
Commenting on his
appointment Edwards said: “IAC’s wealth of experience in the
global Engine Testing arena, both military and civil, is second-to-none.
I regard the company very much as a sleeping giant and being its ‘wake
up call’ is a challenge I relish.” Gordon is married with
two children and lives in south Hampshire.
