IAC China supplies enclosure for China's high-speed railway industry
IAC China has won the tender for providing the acoustic enclosure for the Wuhan High-Speed Train Bogies Testing Laboratory. This is China’s first testing laboratory of its kind for the railway industry and so it has important implications for China’s rail infrastructure development.
The testing laboratory has been designed by Beijing Sheenline Technology Co. Ltd., and the end user is China’s Ministry of Railways. The laboratory is designed to test how the train bogies work in high-speed situations (>450km/h). IAC China will provide the acoustic enclosure to attenuate noise generated by the laboratory.
IAC China won the tender against strong competition from several local companies, thanks to IAC’s good brand reputation, technical excellence and employees’ professionalism. IAC China will provide turnkey service to the customer that includes design, manufacture, installation, acoustics testing and commissioning. The project content includes steel structure, sound insulation, the air conditioning and lighting systems, etc.
The work in now underway and, with the hard work of Mr Roger Li and his team, the project is scheduled for completion in November.
