IAC Appoints Group Engineering Director
 IAC Group, world leader in noise control solutions, welcomes the return of Peter Dawson to the position of Group Engineering Director. He brings to the role over 20 years’ IAC engineering and product experience.
As well as coordinating engineering Research & Development activities across the IAC Group of companies, Peter’s responsibilities will include reviewing all aspects of engineering design and risk on major local and Group projects.
Peter re-joins IAC following periods at both the Martin Baker Aircraft Company and AmSafe Group. He said: “I have known IAC’s products and services for many years – IAC and I go way back. I am looking forward to making a difference in what is today a truly global business - diverse and innovative. IAC is a company that relishes engineering challenges – and I intend to uphold that in every way I can.”
IAC has manufacturing plants on four separate sites in the UK, France, Denmark and USA. IAC’s Global Headquarters are located in Winchester, UK, approximately 100km (70 miles) from London. IAC is an experienced and enthusiastic exporter, supplying equipment to over 50 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Pacific Rim. IAC’s products include everything from multi-engine test cells and hush houses to TV and radio studios, audiology rooms, enclosures for noisy machinery, road barriers, anechoic test rooms, acoustic doors and windows, air handling units (AHUs), air conditioning and power plant silencers and intake/exhaust systems for warships and luxury ferries. IAC even supplies rooms to schools for music practice and to the police for interviewing crime suspects.
