Singapore telephony software giant, uses IAC mini anechoic chamber

Microdyne, a mini anechoic chamber from IAC Limited, is a popular choice with many OEMs around the world for testing and developing a wide range of products. Genesys, part of the Alcatel-Lucent telephony giant, is IAC’s latest customer – requiring shipping of the chamber to their base in Singapore.

The chamber is being custom designed and built at IAC’s Winchester plant from 100mm thick Noishield modular acoustic panels. It will have single-leaf acoustic doors, wall penetrations for cables and wires, and mesh shelves and hangers to support the test subjects. The chamber will be lined with fire-retardant, open cell foam wedges to give a noise reduction outside to inside of 50dBA and a cut-off frequency of 300Hz.

This fully assembled, ready to use solution for Genesys is a lower cost option compared to an IAC walk-in chamber.
