IAC Aviation secures 3-year NETMA support package

IAC Aviation has agreed an innovative development to its support contract for the RB199 Tornado engine for the NATO Eurofighter and Tornado Management Agency (NETMA). This gives a three-year support package to the two end-user Nations, the UK and Italy. The present climate required this arrangement should deliver a value-for-money, low-risk solution for both nations and IAC Aviation was ideally placed to work to this end with NETMA and the Nations, having provided support services to NETMA for over 20 years.

Dave Swartfigure, Commercial Business Manager at IAC said: “We have enjoyed a consistently good working relationship with NETMA over many years so our team is particularly pleased to be party to developing the continued support with this multi year package. Our expertise in RB199 engine test is recognised across the World, so we score highly on cost-effectiveness and minimum downtime.”
