POWER DIVISION
SECURES £3M CONTRACT WITH GE IN AUSTRIA
The
Austrian industrial engine supplier GE Jenbacher (a General Electric subsidiary)
has selected IAC Boët Stopson as a partner to supply exhaust silencers.
The initial contract is for two and a half years and is expected to generate
around £3M of business over the period.
“To avoid transport
costs rendering these large products uncompetitive for European customers,
these are being manufactured by our partners in Eastern Europe,”
says Daniel Joly who heads up the division in Lille, northern France:
“This order …. takes us to the top of the European rankings
in the sector.”
The IAC Boet Stopson
exhaust silencer range is now considered a major player in the UK market
as well, from market entry just 15 months ago. The silencers, manufactured
at our manufacturing facility in Lille, are available from stock in just
7 days in the UK. For more information contact Malcolm Hewitt, Sales Manager
on 01206 878202.
