Leading Swedish Hospital Chooses Audiometric Facility From IAC Nordic

IAC Nordic has completed a milestone order for an Audiometric Booth from a major regional hospital in Jönköping, in central Sweden.

From their base in Denmark IAC Nordic’s markets extend throughout Scandinavia and the Low Countries, with Audiometric products being a key focus of their business. The order for an Audiometric Booth type 403 is considered to be highly significant for a number of reasons: the reputation and standing of the hospital, and also the fact that the hospital’s technical department services a major part of the audiological equipment in use throughout the region. The calibration of all the audiometric equipment will now take place within this world-standard acoustical test facility from IAC.

Anders Olsen is IAC Nordic’s Business Manager: “To function well, this calibration equipment requires the testing environment to exhibit not only well-defined acoustics but also a very low level of ambient noise. Our booths all have guaranteed acoustic performance and are trusted by audiology clinicians and researchers the world over.”

Following installation last month the 403-A booth’s acoustical performance was measured by IAC Nordic prior to being handed over to the calibration team.
