In this edition of IAC E-News we look at the expertise of IAC’s Aviation Division and, specifically, a ground-breaking project in the field of turboshaft engine testing. This brand new test facility, for the UK’s Defence Aviation and Repair Agency (DARA) in Gosport, Hampshire, has a unique multi-engine capability and sets new standards for engine turnaround. Initially being used to test Rolls-Royce Gnome and Turbomeca RTM322 engines, its innovative design ensures that future generations of turboshaft engines can be readily accommodated.

But you don’t have to take our word for it that this is a facility of exceptional quality. Two leading experts in turboshaft testing and maintenance say of the project:

“It’s simply the best of its kind I’ve yet seen in Europe”
Bill Burchell, Editor, Overhaul & Maintenance

“I congratulate IAC on producing a fine, truly ‘state-of-the-art’ test bed”
Bert Jenkins, Principal Engineer (Test), Rolls-Royce plc
