In Line Silencers
A wide range of
silencers for inflow and outflow equipment for vacuum pumps and
suppressers.
Our silencers are
fully welded and are made of S235JR carbon steel, with interior
and exterior protection provided by a black paint primer. The soundproofing
material is rock wool.
If the service
pressure is above 0.5 bar, the silencer must complu with Pressure
Equipment Directive 97/23 EC. In this case, you need to determine
the risk category to which the machinery is subject and apply the
corresponding regulatory requirements, at the design, construction,
control and labelling levels. EC labelling, which attests to product
conformity in relation to the directive requirements, is mandatory
in this case.
Acoustic performances
The acoustic definition
of our custom-made in-line silencers is optimised by our Research
and Development department depending on your needs. Our silencers
are based on two noise reduction principles:
- Absorption device
- Reactive and wave displacement device
Together with low
impedance loss, our silencers are capable of a wide noise reduction
range from 15 to 40 dB (A).
Installation
Our silencers can
be placed in a horizontal or vertical position depending on the
space available and the layout of the piping. Our departments can
advise you on the optimum position of the in-line silencer.
