IAC Acoustic Ceiling for the new Hilo Judiciary Complex in Hawaii

Bronx, NY (January 16) -- The new 175,000 square foot Hilo Judiciary Complex in Hilo, Hawaii is being fitted with a NoiseLock V Acoustic Ceiling.

The building contains seven general purpose courtrooms, two family courtrooms, a law library, holding cells, witness rooms, attorney interview rooms and a grand jury meeting room.

For over twenty-five years IAC America has been designing, engineering and installing suspended metal ceilings with varying acoustic properties, ranging from high NRC ratings to industry leading TL ratings. The ceilings are designed to provide absorption, Transmission Loss, Fire Rating, accessibility, security and sometimes the turnkey integration of lighting and ventilation

The Noise-Lock V ceiling utilized more than 350 panels covering nearly 3,000 square feet of ceiling space throughout the mechanical rooms, control rooms and corridors. It featured a NRC of 0.95 and a STC 33 and a Class A fire rating.

The IAC Noise-Lock V ceiling system was installed using a traditional T-grid support system. The ceilings tegular design provides an attractive shadow line look for a variety of architectural applications. The micro-perforated steel panels were factory finished to match the decor and to improve lighting throughout the designated areas.

IAC Noise-Lock V Ceiling System is available in a wide variety of perforated patterns: round, oval, square, and other geometric shapes in both smooth and textured finishes. The panels can be painted to match using baked enamel, powder coated or pre-finished materials. Material options include aluminum and stainless steel.
