IAC America's Push to Power
 Bronx, NY (May 7)--IAC America is gearing up to re-enter the US Power Gen noise control market with a bang. A new team is now in place and starting to implement the aggressive marketing strategy.
 The United States consumes over 25% of the world’s energy! We are the largest energy consumer in terms of total use, using 100 quadrillion BTUs in 2005. This is three times our consumption in 1950. US energy consumption is still increasing at a faster rate than energy production. At the same time, US state and local governments are implementing stricter and stricter noise regulations that include statutes or guidelines relating to sound transmission. What does that spell for IAC? Big business potential!
 IAC’s major strategy for 2010 to re-enter the US Power Gen noise control market is being led by Brian Schellati and Ron Kryger: Brian in the role of Product Manager focusing on OEM Power Generation manufacturers; and Ron focusing on the marketing and sales of custom-designed, heavy-gauge silencers such as vent, blowdown and ACFI silencers. Assisting in this effort are both the UK Power Division and the IAC Boet Stopson in France, which bring over 30 years’ experience of leading in the European marketplace.
 The first two Power training sessions - with three experienced IAC sales representatives, O’Neill Engineered Systems, Environetics and CE Pickup - have already taken place. Their main focus was to explore how our UK and French operations have successfully penetrated the European Power market. They also delivered sales training tailored to engine exhaust silencers, and facilitated extensive discussions around the structure of the US Power market and the optimum strategy for our re-entry.
IAC would like to thank everyone involved in this initial effort. Several projects have already been won and supplied successfully, so the ball is rolling and picking up momentum, and with no signs of slowing down!
