IAC America’s new, stronger HVAC Commercial team

Bronx, NY (December 1)--IAC America is excited to welcome two new employees to our restructured HVAC Commercial Division: Jim Meyers and Dan LaForgia.

Jim Meyers has joined IAC as Product Manager, HVAC, bringing a wealth of experience to the team. He joins from SPX Cooling Technologies, a Fortune-500 company that manufactures cooling towers for HVAC, industrial and power markets. As Sales Manager he managed and developed all sales representative activity including introducing new ‘route to market’ strategies. Prior to that for more than 10 years he owned and operated a manufacturers’ representative company that supplied filters, silencers, fans, motors, controls, and other products to the HVAC marketplace. Jim has a BS Industrial Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Alongside Jim we welcome Dan LaForgia to the role of Applications Engineer, HVAC. Dan joins us from The Soundcoat Company where he created noise control solutions for HVAC as well as aerospace, transportation, medical and military applications. He was previously an associate consultant in acoustics at Shen Milsom Wilke in New York. He has a BS in Acoustic Engineering from the University of Hartford, Connecticut.
