Sound Barrier Wall from IAC America abates noise from Southern California’s Metro Gold Line
Bronx, NY (October 20) --IAC America, in cooperation with Ace Fence Company and the IAC Representative CE Pickup, has fabricated and installed a second sound barrier wall for the Pasadena Metro Gold Line in Southern California.
The Light Transit rail is approximately 13 miles long and extends from Union Station in the city to Sierra Madre Villa BLVD in Pasadena.
This extension of this project required more than 700 IAC FS Noishield Barrier panels.
Each 5” thick panel is self-draining and the absorptive side is rated NRC 1.05. These rugged panels are easy to install and available in 24” and 18” heights up to 16’ long. The panels endure a five-step cleaning process and are factory finished with tough, thermosetting polyester powder coat available in hundreds of colors and patterns.
According to Ace Fence Company the IAC FS Barrier panels are lighter and easier to install than traditional concrete barriers. By including an Anti-Graffiti treatment into the powder coating process, the IAC FS Noishield barrier panels are much easier to keep clean and maintain. The residents are very pleased with the results both acoustically and aesthetically. These IAC FS Noishield barrier panels should be an attractive solution to the environmental concerns for years to come.
