Keeping Nemo’s chiller quiet for Walt Disney
 Bronx, NY (December 8) --A FS Barrier System from IAC America is helping to keep a chiller quiet at Walt Disney’s newly-upgraded submarine ride at Disneyland.
 The ride has a chiller to maintain water temperature which is located near the Nemo and Small world Attraction under the monorail. IAC, in partnership with the IAC Representative CE Pickup, Turner Construction and Walt Disney Imagineering, provided a turnkey solution to supply and install an IAC FS Barrier System to reduce noise emissions.
The IAC FS Noishield Barrier System measured approximately 1850 sq ft. The design for the wall’s foundation and support structure was quite involved due to the extreme space limitations, not to mention the coordination for the installation. The customizable nature of the IAC FS barrier system lent itself as a perfect solution to this problem. To quote Walt Disney Imagineering: “The system was squeezed into a tight space and has worked very well.”
 The 5” thick panel is self-draining and the absorptive side is rated NRC 1.05. The rugged panels are easy to install and available in 24” and 18” heights up to 16’ long. The panels endure a five-step cleaning process and are factory-finished with tough, thermosetting polyester-powder coat available in hundreds of colors and patterns.
The IAC FS Noishield barrier system can be seen from the Monorail and also from the train ride that circles the Disneyland park.
