Project Engineer:
IAC America is seeking a Project Engineer who will be responsible for total project management. This includes project scheduling & coordination as well as overseeing the design of our products, such as HVAC silencers, acoustical doors and windows, acoustic barriers and test facilities. Position requires a B.S. in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, proficiency with AutoCAD 2005, ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Sheet metal experience, prior General Contractor work experience, knowledge of Visual Manufacturing all a plus. 1 year experience desired.

AutoCAD Draftsperson/Designer:
IAC is seeking individuals with strong architectural drawing skills to be responsible for preparation of Approval & Fabrication drawings for the manufacture of noise control products. Must understand concept of plan views, elevations, sections and details of architectural drawings. Positions require diploma from a technical High School and/or certificate from an AutoCAD technical school, proficiency with AutoCAD 2005, and solid oral/written communication skills. 1 year experience desired.

Product Engineer
IAC America is seeking a Product Engineer to work in a team of individuals specializing in the handling of noise control products and systems. Typically included in each team is a Business Manager, Product Manager, Project Engineer, Designer, and a Support Associate. Teams manage the products and execute the sales orders for those products. This includes, but are not limited to, review and analysis of project design specifications, coordination of design/approval drawings, customer approval, project scheduling, coordination of shipment, and (when required) management of subcontract installation, planning, directing, and controlling various technical activities when necessary to satisfy customer requirements in the areas of project management, engineering, fabrication, service and quality control, financial accountability for compliance to project budgets, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of trends and developments in new equipment and processes in the industry. Product Engineers often support Sales in unique applications of the Team's products. BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil typically) preferably with a minimum of 2 years experience in building projects and construction management; understanding blueprints and construction/fabrication drawings. Word,
Excel, and CAD are all tools used regularly; strong organizational, written and oral skills. Responsibilities necessitate timely and concise communications with Team and Corporate management as well as Sales Representatives, Customers, Vendors and Subcontractors.

Senior Engineer
The Senior Engineer will report to the Director of Research and Development (Salary TBD), and will be responsible for supporting Project Manager and Engineers in the completion of complex engineering projects. Projects can be assigned within the disciplines of: acoustics, mechanical, electrical, HVAC or structural engineering. Responsible to assist and train Engineers and Project Managers in day to day tasks to ensure timely completion of all projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Planning, performing, directing, and controlling various technical activities when necessary to satisfy customer requirements in the areas of project management, engineering, sales, manufacturing, service and quality control. These duties include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned, as deemed necessary by management.
Responsible for technical issues on complex projects as assigned; Responsible for working with the team to complete all projects; Act as resource to other team members; Interface with customers and vendors; Able to perform calculations and design including structural, HVAC, electrical, acoustic, etc. as required; Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of trends and developments in new equipment and processes in the industry; Provide technical support to Sales for proposals; Occasional domestic and international travel will be required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
BS Degree in Engineering, advanced degree a plus; Minimum 5 years related experience; Understanding architectural/ construction/fabrication drawings; MS Office proficiency, AutoCAD and FEA a plus; Ability to multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment; Good communications skills (written and verbal); Acoustics/noise control experience a plus; PE license a plus; Sheet metal manufacturing background a plus.
